Can I rent the property out on Airbnb or vacation rental platforms? +
No. The property is strictly reserved for the 8 co-owners and their families. No short-term rental, no Airbnb. This is what keeps the property in pristine condition and maintains its exclusivity.
What happens if I can't get the dates I want? +
Bookings are managed through a dedicated app on a first-come, first-served basis with fairness rules to prevent peak-period hoarding. We'll walk you through the exact booking framework at our info session.
Can I exit my ownership if my circumstances change? +
Yes. Your representative rights in the Godo Kaisha are transferable. You can sell your 1/8th share to a new buyer at market value — Bessou Share facilitates the matching. All 8 owners can also vote to sell the entire property.
Is financing available for the initial purchase? +
Standard home loans do not apply to LLC membership stakes. We are currently in discussions with partner financial institutions about a dedicated financing product. Details will be shared at our information sessions.
What does the $99/month management fee cover? +
It covers all LLC administration, property maintenance coordination, cleaning between stays, linen changes, basic utilities, and access to the booking platform. No surprises.
Who can become a co-owner? +
Bessou Share targets affluent Millennials (35–45) and active retirees — typically families looking for a premium weekend retreat within reach of Tokyo. Both Japanese residents and foreign nationals are welcome; our team will guide you through any visa or legal considerations.
